WalksBeautiful timber lodges set on the idyllic Hartland Forest Golf and Leisure Park - ideal for exploring North Devon and Cornwall. The area around Hartland typifies so much of the region's timeless, unspoilt charm.
A truly dramatic sea and coastal landscape with some of the finest clifftop walks to be found anywhere, this tranquil park offers a haven to deer, badgers, foxes, nesting buzzards and people alike. Magnificent unspoilt countryside, ideal for walking, cycling and riding. There are many small coves along the coast such as Welcombe and Bucks Mills and the famously picturesque, cobbled fishing village of Clovelly.
For peace and really inspiring scenery the Hartland area will certainly not disappoint you. Further inland you can enjoy the unspoilt countryside and woodland around the market towns of Holsworthy and Hatherleigh - excellent bases for exploring everything that North Devon has to offer.
Together with an 18 hole golf course, well stocked fishing lakes, two all weather tennis courts, walking trails and abundant opportunities for spotting birds, wildlife and rare plants, you can also enjoy the indoor swimming pool, sauna, spa bath, gym and treatment rooms. The clubhouse has a comfortable lounge bar and bistro providing good food and comfortable surroundings.
Hartland Forest covers 1000 acres and is home to herds of wild deer, yet is just 8 miles away from North Devon's beautiful Heritage coastline and miles of sandy beaches. Clovelly, Bude and Lundy Island are among the numerous visitor attractions nearby.
There is a small weekly charge for the leisure facilities, payable on-site.
